About Me

Hello! My name is Nathanael Juliot and this is my first year teaching in CPS. I taught Mathematics at the high school level in Valparaiso, IN prior to moving to Chicago with my wife who also teaches in CPS. Some classes that I have taught previously include: Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, AP Statistics, Algebra Lab, and Math 10.
I love working with students and helping to create spaces for them to have "aha!" moments. I encourage all my students to try their best and be comfortable with making mistakes since we learn quite a bit from our mistakes. I love to facilitate discussion and provide opportunities for students to ask lots of questions!

When I'm not teaching, I love to travel, play board games, watch sports, read, watch tv, and go on walks with my 2 year old dog, Ginny!
